No quarantine upon arrival in England.
As of Monday the 2nd of August 2021, fully vaccinated travellers from EU Countries and The USA will no longer have to quarantine upon arrival in England.
As the UK entered 7 consecutive days COVID case numbers falling there had been speculation that international travellers returning to our shores was on the horizon. This speculation was confirmed this afternoon by the Transport Secretary after a COVID Operations meeting, attended by senior cabinet ministers.
The news is very much welcomed and has finally ended uncertainty as to the entrance requirements for overseas travellers entering the UK.
