Travellers from amber list countries will no longer need to quarantine
when arriving in Scotland from the 19th of July 2021.
From Monday, August 2nd, travellers entering Scotland from amber list countries will no longer need to self-isolate on arrival, making travel for business and leisure much more feasible.
On top of that, The Scottish Government have announced significant reductions to the country’s COVID_19 restrictions.

These changes open the country up to tourism from the United States and parts of Europe, but they also see the return of some large-scale events, and a significant increase in group sizes.
The number of people allowed to meet indoors has increased from 6 to 10, with a maximum of four households.
Live music and sport begin their comeback as festivals and stadium events have their maximum capacities increased to 2000 people, while weddings make an almost complete return with up to 200 people permitted.
On top of the easing of travel and group size restrictions, hospitality venues will now be able to open till midnight. Physical distancing within indoor public spaces will be reduced to 1 meter.
