You will be welcomed into Ireland by a Lang Atholl Experience representative who will be there to assist you with any bags and luggage. They will transport you into Dublin, the capital of Ireland, and you will soon arrive at the stunning 5 Star boutique Marker Hotel. The central location makes it the perfect place for you to go out and explore the city. Within the hotel there is also an award-winning spa which offers an array of treatments and facilities.
When in the city, you will visit the famous Guinness Storehouse located in the heart of St. James’s Gate Brewery. It is one of Irelands most visited tourist attractions and will be an experience you will not forget.
In the evening, you will have the chance to relax from your travels before setting off on your coastal tour.
You will start your journey to Belfast where you will visit the medieval Melahide Castle. The castle holds a dramatic 800 years of heritage which you can take in as you explore the rooms, art collections and listen to the stories being told. Shortly after, you will arrive at Brú na Bóinne which stands for the ‘’palace’ of the Boyne. It is an area situated within the bend of the River Boyne and holds one of the most important prehistoric landscapes.
You will soon arrive into Northern Ireland where you will enter the city of Belfast. Your accommodation for the evening will be at The Merchant Hotel which could not be more perfectly situated in the heart of the city centre. You will begin your day by exploring the Titanic Belfast which is one of the most visited attractions. It is filled with interactive galleries for you to explore and take in the history of the famous Titanic. A trip to Belfast is not complete without a stroll through the Botanic Gardens which occupies 28 acres of stunning tropical plants and seasonal displays.
After you have explored the city, you will set off to your accommodation for the evening, The Bishops Gate. It is is perfectly positioned within the historic city walls in the heart of Derry City’s Cathedral Quarter. The building is full of great history as it dates back to the 1800s. You can enjoy an evening in luxury with unrivalled service as The Bishop Gate stands out amongst hotels.
You will start off your day visiting Malin Head, a signature point on the coast. It is known for its rugged coastal landscape and stunning beaches. Next, you will visit Glenveagh which is one of the largest national parks in Ireland. It boasts beautiful wilderness, rugged mountains and pristine lakes for you to explore. Within is Glenveagh Castle, where you can tour the 19th century castle in depth. You will make your way round the coast of Donegal which provides some of the most stunning views. The towering Slieve League Cliffs are some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe and it is here you can take in the magnificent views out onto the Atlantic Ocean below.
Your accommodation for the evening will be the impressive Lough Eske Castle offering some of the most magnificent rooms and suites. It is nestled amid all the dramatic scenery of Co. Donegal which has been beautifully restored to provide guests with glamour and style. You will enjoy an evening in the stunning castle and relax from your day exploring Donegal.
You will begin your journey down to Galway City taking in some of the most impressive sites Ireland offers. You will travel past the Benbulbin, which is a large flat-topped rock part of the Dartry Mountains. Following, you will drive past Knockarea which is a 327-meter limestone hill which is visually striking. You will also get a glimpse of Crouch Patrick, nicknamed ‘The Reek,’ which is a mountain with an important site of pilgrimage in Co. Mayo. You will also have the chance to visit Kylemore Abbey, a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920.
You will then arrive into Galway, a harbour city on Ireland’s west coast. You will be taken to Glenlo Abbey where you will be spending the evening which has been welcoming guests since 1740. Following, you will make your way to Fanore Beach which is situated at the edge of the karst scenery of then Burren. You will soon arrive at one of Ireland’s most popular sites, The Cliffs of Moher. The columns reach up to 214 meters up from the surges of the ocean.
Next, making your journey into Limerick, you will visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. It is one of Irelands most iconic castles and is a must see when visiting with a vast history of occupancy of over 1000 years.
