Are you looking for a unique whisky experience where you can experience some of your favourite distilleries from a different perspective? Look no further than Scotland’s array of whisky festivals from FÈIS ÌLE on the Isle of Islay to Campbeltown Malts Festival.
FÈIS ÌLE: 26 May – 4 June 2023
This experience is known as the ultimate whisky festival with obvious reason. The 9 day long festivities include a mixture of tours, tastings, live music, ceilidhs, whisky nosings, and much more.
Each distillery is provided with their own open day which allows you to visit the production place of your favourite dram and purchase your own exclusive whisky which they release in honour of the festival.
The nights are just as exciting as the days with ceilidhs and folk nights alongside the first fling to highlight the opening of the festival on the first night and the final fling to signify the ending of the festival.
The Feis Ile isn’t only about whisky but is also an excuse to explore this stunning part of Scotland which boasts miles of beaches, rolling hills, and acres of woodland to get in touch with nature. Enjoy your glass of whisky while taking in the unbeatable views which Islay has to offer.
Campbeltown Malts Festival
This event usually takes place before the Feis Ile and is a four-day whisky experience and celebration which is not to be missed. This festival involves Campbeltown’s famous whiskies: Glen Scotia, Springbank, Glengyle, and Cadenheads in which these well-known distilleries put on tours, tastings, masterclasses, and the release of exclusive bottles.
Not only can you enjoy your favourite whiskies, but you can also experience live music and many more local craft stalls set up in various locations throughout Campbeltown.
